The digital age has revolutionized the field of graphic design, transforming it from a traditional, print-centric discipline into a diverse and dynamic domain. This paper explores the evolution of graphic design in the digital era, tracing its origins from analog techniques to the advent of digital tools. Initially, graphic design relied heavily on manual skills such as illustration and typography, which were used predominantly to create print materials. However, with the rise of computers and software, designers were able to experiment with new forms and techniques, leading to a significant shift in the field. The integration of digital technologies has allowed for greater versatility in design, enabling designers to create dynamic and interactive visuals. This paper examines key milestones in the development of digital graphic design, including the introduction of industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, the emergence of web design, and the impact of mobile devices on the industry. Furthermore, it discusses the evolving role of designers in the digital age, emphasizing adaptability, creativity, and the ability to engage with audiences across various platforms.
