Abstract

The paper explores the evolving landscape of exhibition design and curation, highlighting the recent innovations that have redefined the traditional approach to showcasing art, history, culture, and science. With the advent of new technologies, immersive experiences have become increasingly prevalent, transforming the role of the curator and the engagement of the audience. The integration of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) has enabled interactive exhibitions that allow visitors to engage with the subject matter in unprecedented ways. Furthermore, the emphasis on sustainable and eco-friendly design practices has emerged as a critical component of contemporary curatorial strategies. This paper examines case studies from various museums and galleries to illustrate how these advancements have expanded the scope and depth of exhibitions, fostering a more inclusive and interactive cultural experience. Through a focus on user-centered design, the paper concludes that the future of exhibition curation lies in the seamless fusion of cutting-edge technology, environmental responsibility, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
